News from Malaysia

I had Mike snap a pic as we were walking out the door on Sat.asked
Yes that is a baby bump.  19 weeks.  Due early April.  PO

Pool time

As always, we went to the pool on Sat.  It was actually my birthday and I love playing with the boys in the pool.  So after they let me sleep in and made me breakfast in bed (coconut flour pancakes with strawberries--thanks my three boys) we went down to the pool.  I thought I would take some pics to capture for you their favorite pool games.

Sushi with the boys

For my birthday we went to sushi with the boys.  It was a great place to go as they were mesmerized by the floating sushi plates.  We even let J pick his own.  And he ate it all!  We were so proud.

Now coming up is showcasing Andrew's photography skills.  The boys are really interested in the camera now.
Now brother time...doing "criss cross applesauce" in the box in our room.

Now it's Joseph's turn for taking pics with the camera.  He was so proud.

And lastly, we finally got the family photos up!

Love to all

Happy Halloween

We celebrated Halloween at Andrew's school.

They had a big carnival and it was so much fun. We were not sure how well they would do since it started at their bedtime, but they were great. When we arrived to the music blasting gangnam style, Andrew just about leapt out of the stroller and danced like I've never seen before. It was hilarious. Joseph just looked a little like deer in the headlights the whole time. He just looked around and wasn't sure what to make of it all...the crazy kids running around in strange costumes...the loud music...the fact that he was dressed like spiderman with webs between his arm pits!

Then after letting Andrew dance a few songs, including but not limited to "what makes you beautiful," we tore them him away from the dance floor, and followed the trick or treat carnival trail to all sorts of game booths. Then we stopped for water and some pictures. The above picture is what happened when I said "give a hug!"

Then I said, "no, hug EACH OTHER"!
You can see at least Andrew listened.

Thanks Grammianne for the awesome costumes for the boys. You can tell in this picture we had just stopped at the drinking fountain, hence the wet shirt and faces. They are in the stage where they just think the drinking fountain is the best invention ever and will just stand there playing and drinking regardless of whether there is a queue behind them...eventually they have to be dragged away from it...
Oh life's simple pleasures...
And happy Halloween to all!
Love

My Andrew is turning four tomorrow?

He is in bed now so by the time I thought to make this post I can't take a phot of him. So I settled for taking a photo of his rooms's front door.

I can't believe he is turning four.

Wall art is finally up

When heather came to visit we did some collaborative art. I really love the coral trend going on right now so we looked up a bunch of scientific prints of coral and then did our own. It was so fun. I love doing anything with my sister but especially art.

My sister finally put her art up on a blog. I can't remember if I have posted it here yet. http://heatherteran.blogspot.com/

It was so fun for me to have heather and later Scott visit.

Thanks heather! I love you and miss you and wish you were still here in Malaysia with us, but I am slowly realizing you have to have a life of your own. Sigh.

Happy lantern painting

Happy mid autumn moon festival! Aka: eat lots of mooncakes and hang gorgeous lanterns!

The moms volunteered to do a craft for this special Chinese holiday. We bought a ton of white paper lanterns and brought them in for the kids to paint.

Andrew actually refused to use the paint. He just wanted to dump glitter all over his. So I would paint the glue in stripes and dots and he would dump the glitter. his turned out to be quite unique.
