Baltimore tidbits

Andrew graduated from his baby car seat. His new seat is huge, but of course Andrew manages to fill it out.
We call this his throne.

On a separate note, we love our new friends we've met out here. Here is the cake Abby and Kyle made for us when we first moved here. We love them!

A few more blurry pics from my phone, but I guess you get the picture.

Four states in three weeks

We finally made it to Baltimore. We are living out of boxes. Life is crazy. Today is my second day of being an official stay-at-home mom, as I quit HP.

Here are some pics of our travels over the last few weeks.
First, California.

Can you tell that I am an obsessively sun-protective mom? I am totally freaked out to let his gorgeous skin get any sun so I covered him up as much as possible.

We went surfing while mom watched Andrew.Mom watched Andrew and he loved when she took him on walks around the neighborhood. He especially loved the new umbrella stroller (where he can finally sit forward!).

Nathan and Andrew had some good bonding time. Here he is entertaining Andrew in the car with his glasses.

Also Nathan played electric guitar for Andrew. For those who know Andrew, he is very musical. He loved listening, and would switch off between eating the drum sticks, standing up on the amp, and trying to pick at the guitar.

My mom would give Andrew pool time in our backyard with the giant rubber ducky bath. He loved it. The funniest thing is when he would kick his legs while chewing on his mini rubber ducky toy.

Now, to UT. Ah! Andrew just woke up. Okay I will have to post as is. I'll go in and put explanations in later. I still can't figure out how to do anything else while I'm watching Andrew!

We made it to Baltimore in one piece, although we are living out of boxes right now. Even though we aren't even unpacked yet, I am dying to get out and travel. Here is one of the places at the top of my list.

A new chapter of our lives

Our lives are in such a state of transition.

Andrew and I are currently here...
where I am finishing my last week of work while mom watches Andrew. She is in "grandma heaven" (her words).

Mike is currently here... rafting the main fork of the Salmon river for a week with the Feathies.

In two weeks we will be moving here...

(Baltimore, MD) for two years.
Mike is looking forward to be working for the company of his dreams. We thank Heavenly Father for so many blessings, as all our blessings come from Him.

We are sad to leave this place...

We have loved every minute we've spent in Chicago. We will miss all our friends and always hold dear our Chicago memories. However, we are now going to put a smile on our face and say,

"On to the next adventure!"

Life is wonderful.

More art

More art for Andrew's wall. My inspiration was the letter F.
I still need to frame it, but I will wait until we get unpacked in Baltimore to do that.
