Family update and baby E six weeks old

Andrew saved up his own money from his $3MYR allowance and bought a watch.  He loves clocks, and his favorite time is 3:00.  He knows how to tell the time and his favorite color is red.  Joseph got a watch too (orange with little airplanes on it) but it ends up on the floor more than on his wrist.

Today was Elizabeth's second time going to church.
This is the crazy morning rush down the elevator to get to the car to get to church.  Mike was conducting today so he was really stressed about being on time.

After church we were hanging out in the nursery waiting for dada to finish counting tithing and Joseph found my camera and took a few photos (above and below).

A few after church shots of our little six week old girl.  Funny faces.

Elizabeth watching her big brother play

I tried for the first time today to put something in her hand.  She held on tightly, but didn't swing it around, she just kind of held it.

Andrew took the below pic while he and I were playing.

And lastly, a pic to end on.

Update - First smile, second dress, starting to take walks with mom

Elizabeth in her new dress, the second dress she has ever worn.  But who's counting?  Certainly not me, as a mom so excited to have a girl.

Joseph did something to have to go on the "time out chair."  This time we put baby Elizabeth on to join him and snapped a few photos.

 FIRST SMILE!
She is smiling now, can you believe it?

 More shots of her smile

Here is Elizabeth and I taking a walk around the complex -- I am still not officially allowed to exercise but I am dying to start, so I am taking a walk every morning as a slow start to my post natal exercise routine.

Happy anniversary M&E

On our anniversary, May 6 (2006 makes it 7 years -- gasp -- has it really been that long?) we went to dinner.

Of course we had to bring our little one, as she still breast feeds every two hours.  We dressed her in a dress for the first time.
Here is Mike rocking and walking her while waiting for our lobster bisque and salads to come.

So much more alert these days.  I can now sit her on the table and she will look directly at me.
Happy anniversary Mike and Erin (and our third wheel Elizabeth)!

Elizabeth is one month old

She's almost growing out of the sink -- we'll have to find a bigger place to bathe her.  She still cries during bathtime--she hasn't gotten used to it yet...
Mike experimented on how she'd react if he turned on his high powered blender while holding her -- she didn't mind it at all

Feeding time -- she used to grunt when I put her on my shoulder to burp her, but now she's used to it.

She loves to show me how strong she is and push back on my shoulder by holding her head and neck straight up

Yummy -- mama's shoulder

She loves her dada, especially his voice

This is a typical day for Elizabeth -- getting fed while her brothers (in back) run around and crash their cars into each other

Happy birthday baby girl!  It has been one of the most beautiful and magical months of my life -- almost like a dream -- thanks to this little precious girl
